با حمایت مالی دولت سوئد، یونیسف از طرف جمهوری اسلامی ایران و بنا به درخواست وزارت بهداشت، درمان و آموزش پزشکی، پانسمانهای مخصوص برای کودکان مبتلا به بیماری ای بی، یا بیماری پوستی پروانه‌ای را خریداری و وارد ایران کرد. اولین محموله پانسمانها به وزن4/4 تن حاوی بیش از 60 هزار قطعه پانسمان برای توزیع میان خانواده‌های دارای فرزند مبتلا به بیماری ای بی به وزارت بهداشت، درمان و آموزش پزشکی تحویل داده شد. در سال 2020، یونیسف با کمک مالی دولت آلمان 5/8 تن پانسمان ویژه بیماران ای .

Thanks to the financial support from the Government of Sweden, UNICEF, on behalf of the Islamic Republic of Iran, has procured and shipped specialized wound dressings for children suffering from Epidermolysis Bullosa (EB), also known as butterfly disease. The request was made by the Ministry of Health and Medical Education. Weighing 4.4 metric tons, the first shipment of the wound dressings was delivered to the Ministry of Health and Medical Education for further distribution among families with EB children across the country. In 2020, UNICEF with support from the German Government shipped 5.8 metric tons of EB wound dressings to Iran.
