Photo by michaelclarkphoto Sunlight streams into the kiva in Bandelier National Monument near Los Alamos, New Mexico. The climb up to this cave scares off lots of folks, as you have to climb a series of tall wooden ladders, leaving many feeling exposed. But once you arrive to this special cave and descend into the kiva, the feeling you get while thinking about the thousands of ceremonies performed here is powerful. To capture this image, I had to use a fish-eye lens to get the entire kiva into the photo. #kiva #bandelier #newmexico
