Photo by andrea_frazzetta A daily life scene on the streets of Grottole, a small village in Basilicata in southern Italy. Young and old share a love for this hilltop town and for the countryside that surrounds it, which still has the rhythm of a life in balance with the land and agriculture. While in recent decades these villages have suffered inexorable abandonment, recently the new generations are returning to inhabit these places.
