Comprised of 572 islands (only 36 are inhabited), this archipelago is located 1,370 kilometers (850 miles) from the Indian mainland in the Bay of Bengal. If you manage to make the long journey here, you will be rewarded with friendly locals and one of Asia’s best diving and surfing destinations.
